The inaugural Trotters Association of New South Wales was held on Friday the 13th of October 2017 in the Members Lounge, Penrith Paceway.

The awards night was well patronised with 135 guests in attendance. The evening began with pre dinner drinks and canapés served in the Sky lounge before enjoying a sumptuous buffet dinner in the Members Lounge.

The Master of Ceremonies for the night was our Australian living Legend Mr John Tapp.

Special guests for the Evening were Trotting icons Chris and Graeme Lang who flew from Victoria to be part in this special event. John Tapp conducted an “On the Couch” interview with Father and Son who regaled the audience with stories from their training exploits and their thoughts of the future for Trotting in Australia. This proved to be a very popular, well received and a much talked about segment.

At the conclusion of the Awards ceremonies the guests danced the night away to the live music from the rock and roll band Midlife Crisis, led by David Tapp.
